A Jacksonville Mercantile Exclusive product! Our personal favorite, this poppy syrup is wonderful in champagne, or wine for an unusual kir. We have also made pastry cream for a filling in a cake that won awards.
These Flower Confits and Syrups are from Grasse, France which is where all the flowers are grown for world class perfumes made in France. These are extremely rare and special. For over the last 150 years, the same family with only six employees make these special floral syrups and confits in very small batches each year. Also can be used to flavor ice creams, in champagne or wine or drizzled over yogurt or soft cheeses.
We liked this with vodka and a splash of sparkling water - wow!!
