Founded in 1867 in Saint-Petersburg, Kusmi Teas are faithful to the spirit of the firm P.M Kousmichoff, supplier of the tsars of ancient Russia. In 1917 when the Revolution started in Russia, anticipating a disaster, the eldest Kusmichoff son transferred a part of his fortune to the London office and then created the Kusmi Tea company in France. Kusmi Russian Tea remains the only genuine Russian tea firm and carries on as in former times. Prince Vladimir is a blend of Ceylon and China teas with scents of orange, lemon, vanilla, grapefruit and spices. Anastasia is a blend of China and Ceylon teas flavored with natural scents of bergamot, lemon and orange blossom. Russian Morning is a blend of black China, Ceylon and India teas. Perfect for breakfast.

French folks take their tea seriously, particularly Parisians, so
their tea shops and tea brands can seem a little intimidating.
Kusmi is Parisian, but very approachable, and brewing up a cup of their Anastasia is the next best thing to a leisurely afternoon next to the Seine, in a little patisserie with a plate of macarons and conversation to hold you over until supper. We take time out every day in our home to brew a pot of Kusmi--with or without the macarons. Sort of spicy from the bergamot, mellow, and a with a citrusy floral note that isn't over the top, it's our favorite.
