Tuesday June 17, 6:30 p.m. Cheese Making   In this class we will learn how to make fresh Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese.  We'll also learn how to make Gnudi pasta with our Ricotta.

Tuesday July 15, 6:30 p.m.  Make Ahead Appetizers We'll learn how to make four appetizers perfect to take on a picnic, to a party or tailgating. Only 2 spots left in this class.  Call Soon! 

Monday August 11 6:30 p.m.  Knife Skills.  HANDS ON.  In this class we will be learning how to care, sharpen and use your knives.  Learn the differences in knives, how to keep them sharp and different cuts. This class is hands on.  Please bring both a chef's knife and a paring knife to class.  The cost of this class is $45.  The class will be held at an off- site location in Jacksonville TBD.  No more than 8 students.

Tuesday August 26  6:30 p.m. Dinner from the CSA Box.  Using items found in a CSA Box, we will create a dinner at Jacksonville Mercantile from what was picked that week. August is a great time to enjoy the fruits (and veggies) of our local farmer's labor.

Thursday September 4 6:30 p.m.  Using Steam to Cook.  In this class we will be exploring how to use steam to cook and bake different meals.  Learn steamed sticky rice, steamed buns and steamed green tea cakes.

October, November & December TBD

 Please note:  Britt Music Festivals adds concerts throughout the season.  If a concert is added on a day a class has been scheduled, we will move the class to a day when there is not a concert in the same week.


Cancellation Policy:

Because food must be purchased and class instruction prepared in advance, class fees for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to class are not refundable. With more than 48-hour notice of a cancellation, credit may be applied to a future class or fees can be refunded. "No shows" will not receive a refund or credit. If enrollment for a class is insufficient, Jacksonville Mercantile reserves the right to cancel the class and will notify registered students of the cancellation. In the event of a cancelled class, students may choose to take another class on our current schedule or be fully refunded.  Reminder Notifications will not always be sent, please be sure to mark your calendars if you have signed up.
