This flavoring is what is found in all Italian specialty cakes at the holidays. When you smell the vanilla, citrus, rum scent of the Flowers of Sicily you will instantly be reminded of The Italian Sweet breads you find such as Pannatone and Pandoro. We love to put this into our brownines as our "secret" ingredient. This is a concentrated flavoring compound so you will use half to one-quarter what is called for in a recipe. Example, if a recipe calls for 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, you will substitue 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon.
